Dès lundi, de nombreux négociants lançaient leur saison de primeurs avec une grande dégustation. Brane était conviée à celle du négociant Barrière Frères qui avait transformé son entrepôt, très récemment rénové, en une salle de dégustation dernier cri, illuminée et chaleureuse (enfin...chaleureuse par l'accueil , mais pas par la température qui y régnait car pour assurer la bonne conservation des vins il ne faisait pas plus de 12°!) . Un petit cocktail au champagne en fin d'après midi a conclu ce très sympathique moment...

On Monday, several wine merchants kicked off their primeurs season with a large tasting. Brane was invited to that of merchant Barrière Frères which had transformed its recently renovated warehouse into a cutting-edge, bright and warm tasting room (that is…the reception was warm, but not the temperature since it was kept at 12° maximum to preserve the wines!). . A short Champagne cocktail at the end of the afternoon concluded this enjoyable moment.

Many clients from the world over were eager to taste the 2010 vintage of numerous Crus Classé wines but also - an excellent idea - the 2008 and 2007 vintages, which are deliverable and still affordable. The participants included major importers from China (ASC), Japan (Suntory), Europe (The Wine Society, for example) and the US, of course (JJBuckley, Larry Wilkin, etc.), with a large turn-out (we’re not surprised, Mr. Ehrmann!). Great work to the entire Barrière team who went out of its way all afternoon to welcome countless French and foreign visitors. The organization was impeccable!
