The opening gala will take place on Monday April 11th with a showing of ‘Les femmes du 6ème étage' by Philippe Le Guay with Fabrice Luchini and Sandrine Kiberlain.

Bertrand Blier will be in the spotlight for Colcoa's Fifteenth anniversary in 'Focus on a Filmmaker' and Martin Scorsese will pay homage to Claude Chabrol in order to commemorate his recent passing. The film chosen by the public will be Les Bonnes Femmes.
Like every year, in keeping with tradition, Colcoa will present a restored film with the support of the Franco-American Cultural Fund, the festival's founder. Pierre Schoendoerffer will be in Los Angeles for the presentation of La 317ème Section, which will be followed by a talk on war in French and American cinema. This film will also be shown to American students from the region's universities and schools with the participation of Serge Toubiana, the director.

Lastly, for its 50th anniversary, Lola, by Jacques Demy, will be shown in its restored version in association with l'Institut Français and the French Film and TV Office in Los Angeles.

Brane is delight to be part of these great moments of emotion!
