BRANE WELCOMES 'THE WINE MERCHANT'

In France, thanks to the thirty-five-hour workweek initiated by Ms. Aubry, Friday afternoons are often quiet and lazy in many French companies. And yet Christophe Reboul-Salze's entire team works through to the evening! ?No later than 2:30 pm,? he told us before coming? "We have our work cut out for us and we?re not on vacation! We need to be able to cross the Garonne before the big rush for ski holidays?? And so today, we invited his entire team for a tasting and lunch?and of course, a visit of the premises. Standing at attention at 12:30 pm, the Brane team welcomed Christophe Reboul-Salze, who was surrounded by his sales representatives, a few members of his back office and his buyer: Sylvie Pechstein, Laetitia Laou?, Louis Monnier, Isabelle Descoubes, Anouk Bouillet, Nathalie Rivi?re and Marie who was just hired after an internship. A lovely vertical tasting of Brane and Baron, 2009 included, was followed by a succulent and original lunch specially prepared to accompany a superb 2000, an 96 and an 83 in magnums that was fruity, vibrant and still quite radiant for its age! The subtle dessert showcased a magnificent Climens 96... At 2:30, it was hard to go back to work under these conditions!!!! Fortunately, tomorrow it?s the weekend!
