On Monday June 22, the second evening of Vinexpo, Brane turned its clocks to international time....

Henri Lurton took advantage of the fact that numerous foreign visitors were in the region for Vinexpo to entertain journalists and loyal customers of our partner wine merchants during a dinner at Brane.

Mr. Aman Dhall from Brindco and a group of Indian buyers, managers of luxury resorts in India and the Maldives and the journalist/sommelier Harshal Sha came to visit the property and taste a few vintages, including the superb 1959. A few American journalists were in attendance: Panos Kakaviatos from Decanter, a friend and loyal supporter of Brane, Mr. and Mrs. D’Vari from awinestory.com, Mrs. Kirsh from International Wine Review and winematters.com and her husband Tony Clifford. We also welcomed two head sommeliers from Mauritius, Mr. Olivier Gastal Pinach and Mr. Lucas, both head sommeliers in Belle Mare. South American Eduardo Cabellero, a journalist for ‘Sobremesa’ in Mexico, came as well. From Belgium, there were Mr. Rémy Poussart and Mr. Joseph Poulain from the ‘Grand Jury International des Vins.’ Iceland’s representative was a Brane buyer, Mr. Aflidi Lostsson, from the company Ber Wine Imports. Italian and American representatives were present as well… Mr. Tony Pascuale, a sommelier from Cristal Cruises. Not to mention China, with the owners of Remfly, Mr. Zhang Yihan and of Cheval d’Or, Mrs. Cherry Cai.
