UNIVERSITE DE PARIS DAUPHINE’S SECOND WINE-TASTING CONTEST TOOK PLACE ON JUNE 6

Like last year, and with great pleasure, Château Brane-Cantenac was one of the sponsors of the event that took place at Château de Beaune. It was under a radiant sun and on Château de Beaune’s prestigious premises that the second edition of the “Dauphine/Bouchard Père et Fils” Wine-Tasting Contest was held. This event brought together French grandes écoles (ENS, ESSEC, Centrale, EM-Lyon, Sciences-Po, HEC, etc.) as well as young finance professionals. The contest started with a wine-related questionnaire. The following events consisted of a blind tasting of four white wines and four red wines and a wine commentary to finish. A finance team (Stéphanie Cottin, Ronan Petit and Charles Pélissier) faced off against the ESSEC (followed by Sciences-Po and the ENS). All the participants demonstrated real expertise during the blind tasting. Here is a picture of the group – a picture of the winners will be coming shortly! Good work to all these enlightened amateurs and our fine young ambassadors!
