Over the past three days, Henri Lurton and Corinne Conroy were in Washington, DC for the American Heart Association’s Heart's Delight weekend. Like every year, a large-scale charity gala with an auction, preceded by a press tasting, took place on Friday May 7. The next day, a superb tasting/discussion on the 2007 vintage, led by Robert Parker in person, was followed by a truly gourmet celebration featuring America’s greatest chefs and wineries and France's finest wines.

As soon as we have photos, we will put them on our blog, but in the meantime, here is a short message from Heidi Arnolds, organizer of this weekend, on behalf of Ruth Basin and Mark Wessels from MacArthur Liquors.

'Thank you all so much – we had a great weekend and loved getting to spend some time with you all over the three days.  Thank you for everything you did to make it so special – we could not do it without you.  '

Heidi Arnold, Heart's Delight Association

And as promised you'll find the first photo of the auction, courtesy of our dear friend Allan Liska, Thanks Allan!
